April 20, 2009: #TAXI, CellWand’s award-winning mobile application that has already helped millions of Canadians find a taxicab, has been named as a finalist for the 2009 Ericsson Outstanding Product Achievement Award -Content and Application Mobility Industry (MoCo).
#TAXI, accessed by dialling #-T-A-X-I (#-8-2-9-4) on any mobile phone in Canada and now on over 165 mobile phones in the United States, has helped position CellWand as a pioneer for future abbreviated dialling codes to be launched in North America in the years ahead.
